Manufacture of Amplatzer™ occluders using nitinol wire

"Memory metal" is shaping exciting futures for people with congenital heart defects and stroke risk. Nitinol is the ideal material for our Amplatzer™ family of occluders. Each one is made from braided nitinol wire and then heated to "memorize" its shape.
