LAAO SUMMIT 2022 - Introductory Remarks

Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion therapy has become an established and increasingly popular alternative therapy to reduce the risk of AF-related stroke. Clinical research initiatives continue to show the therapeutic opportunities and benefits of this potentially lifesaving therapy. The objective of this meeting is to share ideas, thoughts and exchange experiences among experienced LAA occlusion devices and experts in the field of stroke prevention. It is designed to go beyond discussing the current available clinical data and aims to address new developments.
